In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add the oil, lemon juice, water, lemon zest and vanilla and beat for 1 more minute.
Finally, add the flour and baking powder and beat for another 2 minutes, your cake batter is now ready!
Place baking paper on a baking tray. Pour all the cake mixture onto it and spread it evenly over the entire surface with a spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 15 minutes. Be careful not to let the cake dry too much, as there will be temperature differences from oven to oven.
To prepare the cream; add milk, sugar, flour, starch, egg yolk, lemon juice, lemon zest and turmeric powder to the saucepan and cook, whisking constantly, until it reaches a thick consistency.
Finally, add the vanilla, butter and cream cheese to the thick cream and mix again. Remove from the stove and let it cool to room temperature.
Cut the cake you took out of the oven in half lengthwise. Place half of it on the bottom of a baking dish and add the entire lemon cream that you have cooled to room temperature on top. After spreading the cream evenly with a spatula, add the remaining half of the cake on top and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on the cake before serving and enjoy!
